03 Set Degustando: the food charity event in Genoa
Degustando, the gastronomic street food arrives Tuesday 3 September in Genoa, at Piazza delle Feste in the Old Port of Genoa, within the Street Food Fest event (http://www.streetfoodgenova.it), with free admission every day until 7 September.
Under the starry sky, Degustando will be a long gastronomic journey in 10 dishes signed by the Chefs, accompanied by the excellence of local producers and the best wines of the territory, to support a project dedicated to homeless people.
The cost of the event (with the possibility of paying on the spot) is € 60. All the proceeds from the event will go to the Sant’Egidio community, founded in Rome in 1968, present in Genoa for over 40 years: an international lay movement present in more than 70 countries in the world; the organization takes care of welcoming and caring for homeless people.
The objective will be to participate in the collection of funds for the construction of a new structure equipped with showers and laundry, following the recent closure of the city daytime.
The event is organized on the occasion of and in collaboration with the SFF // Street Food Fest 2019 – 28 August 7 September – Porto Antico and the Genoese store of Eataly.
